A sub project under NLRP-II, the POWER-II project, is a collaborative effort among Australian Lutheran World Service (ALWS), International Nepal Fellowship (INF) Australia, Caritas Australia, and Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) Australia, supported by the Australian NGO Cooperation Program (ANCP).This project aims to promote women’s empowerment and gender equality in Nepal. It focuses on gender mainstreaming, leadership development, and policy advocacy to address the root causes of gender inequality.
Our Women Human Rights Defenders (WHRD) and volunteers across the 10 districts have been trained and mobilized to address social issues in their respective villages and promote awareness in the community on such issues. Additionally, help desks have been established in the cooperative to support individuals seeking information and emergency assistance.
